Carole Edgerton Treadway Archivist and Special Collections Librarian Endowed Fund Campaign

At a recent board meeting of the North Carolina Friends Historical Society, this brochure was distributed detailing the Carole Edgerton Treadway Archivist and Special Collections Librarian Endowed Fund campaign. Damon Hickey, a former director of the Quaker Collection at Guilford College and his wife Mary, presented the College with a challenge gift of $500,000 to support an endowment for the Quaker Archivist (currently Gwen Gosney Erickson) in honor of Carole Edgerton Treadway, the longest serving staff member of the Quaker Archives.
